Mission Statement
The Via Capote Observatory is a small private facility located in Thousand Oaks, California. The principal research conducted here is minor planet observation with a specific emphasis in determination of rotation period of these objects, particularly those whose lightcurve data has never been published.
Target selection is primarily made from the Collaborative Asteroid Lightcurve Link (CALL) / "Light Curve Targets" section.
