Mission Statement

The Via Capote Observatory is a small private facility that I own and operate. The principal research conducted here is directed at minor planet observation, with a specific emphasis in determination of rotation period of these objects, and any gravitationally bound satellites that may co-exist as a system with the primary object.

All work is done with electronic, CCD-based imaging. The system is not calibrated to a photometric standard. All photometric measurements are based on differential magnitudes.
